Conversion led by Railway Employee alleged

4/1/2006 12:00:50 AM Mahadev

The extracurricular activity of a railway official of the Olavacode Divisional office seems to be to lead a proselytization crew in a housing colony of Hindus here.

In Prasanth Nagar, near the Railway colony, conversion activities are going on using two newly converted women, who live here in a rented house. Majority of the residents are retired officials whose children are either away on employment or for education.

The women, who are daughters of a former railway employee belonging to a backward caste, are deployed here to evangelize the inhabitants of the colony by influencing the housewives. Their activities have come to the notice of the people who have started protesting against it.
