A two day Dharma Sammelan held at Tirupathi on March 3 and 4, 2006, which was the fifth in a series organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad in various parts of the country, the other four being those held at Hardwar, Prayag, Guwahati and Puri earlier, concluded with a massive public rally in which thousands of people from various parts of the state and from outside participated.
After the Conclusion of the Program, All Swamijis made their way for the Darshan of Lord Balaji on the famous Tirumala Hills, but too everyone's surprise the Swamijis were denied entry into the Temple by Thomas Varghese (Executive Officer of Padmavathi Guest House) who is also said to be a close associate of Andhra Pradesh Y.Samuel Rajshekar Reddy. The Fanatic Christian Chief Minister denied our Own Hindu Swamijis to have Darshan of the Lord making Hindus remind that Temples are no more under the control of Hindus.
Infact he had instructed the police Department to lathicharge all those Sadhus and Sants who were found wandering anywhere around the temple. This attitude of the Fanatic Christian Chief Minister angered all the Swamijis who had come from far off places to have one glimpse of the Lord. The Swamijis retalliated by sitting in Dharna right opposite the main entrance of the temple. The 6 hour long protest by Swamijis was gaining momentum as the General public supported their demand. The Perplexed TTD Officials with limited options had to take a quick decision to avoid any backlash from the public who were losing their patience from time to time. And finally with indoor consultations the Swamijis were let inside the sanctm to have the Darshan of the Lord.

Earlier at the Sammelan Thousand Sadhus, Sannyasins and Acharyas, including the Peethaadheeswars of prominent mutts and Hindu religious institutions in the four southern states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra and Tamilnadu, have taken a unanimous decision to undertake yatras in every nook and corner of these provinces to create awakening among the Hindus about the onslaught on Hindus and Hindu institutions by Islamic Jehadis and the threat posed by the well-planned conversion activities of Christian evangelists, and also to create a powerful vote bank of the Hindus to establish Hindu Rashtra in Bharatavarsha.
The Dharma Acharyas resolved to fight tooth and nail against the Government interference in the administration of Hindu temples and religious institutions and diversion of their funds to confer special privileges and amenities to minorities, like subsidy for Haj pilgrimage and grants for Christian institutions. The Dharma Samsad stressed the need to constitute Dharmic Councils consisting of Dharma Acharyas and Peethadheeswars for the administration of Hindu institutions and temples.
Addressing the sadhus and sants, Sri Ashok Singhal, International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, pointed out the threat posed by large-scale conversions by evangelists in various parts of the country, especially in the North East, and the infiltration of Bangladeshis from across the border, posing a grave threat to the freedom and integrity of the nation. He said if the steady and systematic decline in the Hindu population ever since Independence of the country is not arrested immediately, the Hindus will be a minority very soon in their own Motherland and, therefore, Hindus must reject the norm of two children per family and produce as many children as possible.
Dr. Pravin Togadia, International General Secretary of VHP, addressing the gathering, said that as long as the fanatic and fundamentalist religion of Islam existed in this country, terrorism couldn't be wiped out. He said, VHP was committed to build Hindu Rashtra and Akhand Bharata from Kanyakumari to Khandahar. Dr. Togadia also pointed out that while the Hindus visiting the Hindu temples were forced to shell out money to have darshan of the deities, the funds of the prominent temples were looted by those in power and heavy subsidies were given from out of the money to Muslims to undertake Haj pilgrimage and to Christian institutions as grants in aid. He said, the need of the hour was to create Hindu Dharmic Councils consisting of Dharma Acharyas to take over the administration of the Hindu temples from the hands of unscrupulous politicians in power.
Jagadguru Sri Vishwesha Teertha of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi, called upon the sadhus and sants to guide the Hindu youth of the country to fight against the forces of Adharma. He compared the VHP to a chariot, the sadhus and sants to Lord Krishna, the Hindu youth to Arjuna, the Jehadi terrorists to the Kauravas led by Duryodana, the Christian conversionists to Sakuni, and the secular Governments to Dusshasana.
Speaking on a resolution to adopt Bhagavad Gita as the common scripture of the Hindus, the Swamiji pointed out that since times immemorial, all sections of the Hindu society have accepted Bhagavad Gita as the supreme guide book for the Hindu way of life and even today, not only Hindus but also people in various other parts of the world draw inspiration from the scripture.
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi Kamakothi Peetham stressed the need of Hindus implicitly following the injunctions of Sanatana Dharma and upholding the Hindu way of life.
Swami Dayananda Saraswati, President of Dharma Acharya Sabha, called upon the Sannyasins and Sadhus to stop conversion of Hindus, especially the poor and downtrodden masses into Christianity by going into the slums and villages and inspiring the people to be proud as Hindus.
Supporting the resolution on the need to create a Hindu vote bank, Sadhu Prof. V. Rangarajan, Spiritual Head of Sri Bharatamata Mandir, Bangalore, pointed out that the conversion of Hindus in northern India at the point of sword by the Muslim rulers led to the destruction of Hindu nation and support to Khilafat Movement by the Congress led by Gandhiji resulted in the creation of Pakistan. Prolonged and systematic conversion of tribal people through force and inducements by foreign missionaries has created Christian majority states of Nagaland and Mizoram where the forces of cessation are striving to create a Christianistan. In Arunachal Pradesh, the tribals are losing their religions, and Christian fundamentalists destroy temples of tribal gods like Doni-Polo. The creation of Muslim majority district in Malappuram has resulted in creating a Jehadi centre in south India. The Christian fundamentalists are ruling the roost in the Travancore and Cochin areas of Kerala. The Moulvis and Mullahs dictate the Muslims to vote for Islamic fundamentalist forces by creating a Muslim vote bank and the Christian Archbishops, Bishops and Priests command the Christian laity to vote for the Christian fundamentalist politicians whereas the Hindu votes every where are scattered among various Hindu candidates fighting under the banner of either secular parties or under various Hindu political parties. At this juncture, the only way to save the country and the Hindu society is for the Sadhus, Sannyasins, Acharyas and Peethaadheeswars of various Hindu sects and sampradaayas to come out of the narrow shells of their mutts and missions, identify with the whole Hindu society, and create an awakening among Hindus by inculcating the spirit of adoration and worship of the Motherland and consolidating the Hindu forces by visiting each and every village, mohalla and slum and wiping out the distinctions of caste and class in the Hindu society.
Speaking on terrorism, Sadhuji pointed out that the misplaced ideal of non-violence and Sarva Dharma Samabhava preached by leaders like Gandhiji resulted in the wiping out of the Hindus from those parts of the country where Muslims were in Majority. He recalled that, at the time of partition of the country, Gandhiji went even to the extent of advising the Hindus and Sikhs not to resist the Muslims even if the Muslims butchered them and that, it was preferable for them to die at the hands of the Muslims rather than retaliate violently. Not only fanatic Muslim rulers like Aurangazeb perpetrated inhuman atrocities on Hindus, but also the Christian rulers of Goa under the Portuguese regime, during the infamous Goa Inquisition, ripped open the womb of Hindu mothers, killed innocent children and forcibly converted or butchered the Gaudasaraswat Brahmins of Konkan to convert Goa into a Christian State. Even today, Muslims as well as Christians perpetrate such violent acts and terrorism wherever they are in majority. He cited the attacks on innocent Hindus in Hyderabad and Lucknow at the time of the protests by Muslims against cartoons of the Prophet in Danish newspaper. Sadhuji pointed out that the Sannyasins of Bengal took up arms and fought against the Muslim rulers at the time of Sannyasi Rebellion of 1773, which has been vividly described by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 'Ananda Math'. As Bhavananda of the historical novel sings the praise of Bharatamata in the immortal 'Vande Mataram' song and emphatically declares that the Motherland is the only god to be worshipped and as Swami Vivekananda wanted all vain gods and goddesses disappear giving place for the worship of the Motherland, the modern Sannyasins should also preach the adoration and worship of the Motherland as the Supreme Goddess who is the mother of all gods and goddesses of the Hindu pantheon. He also pointed out that the great Mahatmas like Parasurama have never hesitated to take up arms against wicked forces and in the historic period, Samarth Ramdas helped building up Hindu pada padshahi and Vidyaranya of Sringeri Peetha in building up the Vijaya Nagar empire to put an end to the growth of Islamic forces. The sadhus and sants in the modern period should also rise up to protect Hindu Dharma and to rebuild Hindu Rashtra.
The Dharma Samsad passed a momentous resolution taking a pledge to rebuild the Ramajanmabhumi Mandir at Ayodhya and asked the Central Government to pave the way for it. The Samsad fixed a deadline for this till the next Samsad to be held at Prayagraj in 2007. If the Government fails to take the necessary step in this regard, the Sadhus will have to come out to the streets to mobilize the Hindu masses.
The Dharma Samsad also passed resolution demanding effective Central legislation to put complete ban on cow slaughter throughout the country.

i express my apologies for doubting your reporting.
But can you please tell me the source of information from which you were able to quote the incident wherein the sadhus from VHP were barred from entrying the Tirumala Temple.
