The Conversion Agenda

"Freedom to convert" is counterproductive as a generalized doctrine. It fails to come to terms with the complex interrelationships between self and society that make the concept of individual choice meaningful. Hence, religious conversion undermines, and in extremes would dissolve, that individual autonomy and human freedom.

Mental Patient Behind Church Attack, Christians Falsely Scapegoat Hindus

Vizhinjam police on Tuesday took into custody a person with mental problems for attacking a church at Payattuvila.

The police handed over the person identified as Selvaraj, 32, to the Mental Hospital.

According to police, the person had entered the compound of the Holy Rozario Church and threw stones at the church. A few glass panes of the church were damaged in the attack.
