"Freedom to convert" is counterproductive as a generalized doctrine. It fails to come to terms with the complex interrelationships between self and society that make the concept of individual choice meaningful. Hence, religious conversion undermines, and in extremes would dissolve, that individual autonomy and human freedom.

Send Christian students to Christian Schools only - Arch Bishop

12/2/2007 5:19:37 PM HK

Thiruvananthapuram: All Christians should send their kids only to Schools controlled by Christian Management, insisted Inter Church Council Chairman Arch Bishop Mar Joseph Povathil. According to him, it’s necessary to instil their religious ethos among Christian Children.

This open call from the Christian clergy reconfirms the agenda of Missionary schools and Hindu’s who send their Children to such schools even after repeated warnings from Hindu organisations should think twice when they are going to enrol their Kids in such schools , which openly proclaims proselytization is their agenda.

Will NSS which joined the hands with such crooked Missionaries show the guts to proclaim that ‘Hinduism’ will be propagated through their schools as well? It's the Tax payers money which is being used to pay the salary for these Schools controlled by Church, Government should take sutable action against such Religous leaders who are the real blackspot for the Secular Nation envisaged by our constitution.

There are number of schools spread all over Kerala now managed by various Hindu spiritual organizations and of Nationalistic organizations like Vidya Bharathi, Bharatheeya Vidya Bhavan etc. Those who wish to see our next generation to be get rid of the Pseudo secular culture , the bane of present society should make sure their Children are bought up with the true spirit of our Nation and Religion.
