The Conversion Agenda

"Freedom to convert" is counterproductive as a generalized doctrine. It fails to come to terms with the complex interrelationships between self and society that make the concept of individual choice meaningful. Hence, religious conversion undermines, and in extremes would dissolve, that individual autonomy and human freedom.

Conversion attempt: Free Bible distribution in Mumbai!

May 18, 2007

Mumbai: A fanatic missionary from Faridabad (Haryana State) has been distributing copies of Bible to people from affluent localities of Mumbai. His scheme of sending about 3000 copies to societies in Kandivali area was foiled by Shri. Shankar Pawar, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha. A book titled 'No Greater Love' Bibles for the world' was given free of charge, to a subscriber of Sanatan periodicals, through a courier along with his mail.

It was noticed By Shri. Pawar, a Sanatan seeker who had gone to the subscriber to deliver his paper that the book was 'Bible's new contract. When Shri. Pawar called the security guard of the building; he was told that there were 3000 copies of the said book near the gate. He immediately called the courier boy and told him not to distribute the books. The book has been published by 'Bibles for the world' publishing house at Colorado, USA.
