The Conversion Agenda

"Freedom to convert" is counterproductive as a generalized doctrine. It fails to come to terms with the complex interrelationships between self and society that make the concept of individual choice meaningful. Hence, religious conversion undermines, and in extremes would dissolve, that individual autonomy and human freedom.

Kerala Women's Commission Confirms Sexual Assault by Christian Priest

Kochi, Nov 27 2005

The State Women's Commission has urged the state government to take up detailed investigation into the allegation that a priest of the Muringoor Christian Meditation Centre had sexually assaulted a female inmate there.

The Commission has taken this decision since its preliminary inquiries has found substance in the petition filed by the victim. The Commission has already submitted its report to the state government.
