The Conversion Agenda

"Freedom to convert" is counterproductive as a generalized doctrine. It fails to come to terms with the complex interrelationships between self and society that make the concept of individual choice meaningful. Hence, religious conversion undermines, and in extremes would dissolve, that individual autonomy and human freedom.

Christian "Miracle" Group in Police Net for Fraud

SUN TV in its news bulletin of 1:30 this afternoon reported that a Christian prayer group that has swindled thousands of gullible people of crores of rupees under the guise of performing miracle cures, exorcising evil spirits, etc.

Members of the group have been arrested by the TN Police in Tanjore for fraud. The group, one of whose member's name is Philomena, has been active in Coimbatore, Tanjore and other places. It moves from house to house in search of victims and under the guise of miracle cures, swindles them out of money and valuables.
