2 Indians Arrested in Nepal for Forceful Conversion of School Children

District Administration Office (DAO), Parsa arrested a couple on charge of involvement in forceful religious conversion of schoolchildren of Grace English Boarding School on Wednesday.
The director of the school Babu Bhargis and his wife Sabitri Bhandari were taken into custody for necessary investigation after receiving complaints that the couple were forcing students of the school to adopt Christianity, states the DAO.
Babu Bhargis, an Indian citizen, was running the school for orphans in Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-16. A total of 80 students are currently studying in the school who were reportedly coerced into conversion by the couple.
Meanwhile, the cottage and small industries office, Birgunj closed down half a dozen private X-ray clinics that did not meet the necessary standards.
According to the office, clinics failing to set up physical and technical infrastructure required by the standards set in 2061 were taken legal action.
