The Conversion Agenda

"Freedom to convert" is counterproductive as a generalized doctrine. It fails to come to terms with the complex interrelationships between self and society that make the concept of individual choice meaningful. Hence, religious conversion undermines, and in extremes would dissolve, that individual autonomy and human freedom.

Andhra Town in Tension after Christian Converts Demolish Hanuman Statue

ELURU, JAN. 5. 2004

Tension prevailed at Dubacharla today following demolition of an Anjaneya Swamy statue by Christians. Villagers staged a `rasta roko' on the Rajahmundry-Eluru State highway in protest against the demolition of the 40-year-old statute of Lord Hanuman, revered by Hindus.

With a poor farmer population and a Christian, Andhra Pradesh is one of the church's most targetted states. Many recent Christian converts in an attempt to reject their previous faiths have vandalized many Hindu temples in the region.

OF THE PRESENT CM Y.S.RAJASHEKAR REDDY BECAUSE THIS IDIOT HIMSELF IS A CONVERTED CHRISTIAN AND HIS SON-IN- LAW ANIL KUMAR IS A PREACHER OF CHRISTIANITY AND DID NOT FIND ANY KIND OF OBSTACLE FROM ANY ONE EXCEPT FORM RSS, VHP AND BAJRANGDAL.
